If anyone who doesn't know me is reading this, I am a network administrator at a site for a rather large company. Unfortunately, all of our internet connectivity is routed through our corporate office in Pennsylvania, so, even though I am in complete control of our network here, I have no control whatsoever over our internet connection. And Websense is in place on our proxy server, so I can't got to LiveJournal, Addictinggames, or even GMail.
But basically, I will use this blog to talk about sports, TV/movies, and to periodically bitch about my company.
Since we are currently in the process of changing all of our applications at work from being built in Access databases, over to a SQL Server based system, and delivering them to our users in a web-based format, using ASP.Net 2.0, I will also be talking a lot of geek-speak here, more for my benefit, but if any of you out there read about issues or problems I am having with that stuff, and you know a solution, feel free to chime in. I'm not too proud to take advice.
